Meander Mindset
Meander Mindset: Bayou Teche was a collaboration done with environmental sculptor Marla Kristicevich. Together we meandered the length of South Louisiana's Bayou Teche collecting organic samples, and making photographs, textural rubbings, audio recordings, and sculptures along the waterway. These collected materials and works created a visual narrative of our journey which culminated in three gallery exhibitions and a book. Through this work, we hope to encourage the viewer to reevaluate their connection to the natural world and to take the time to observe and appreciate their surroundings.
